Orete Policies

Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 9 July 2026

By using Orete you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. About Orete

Orete is a community platform that helps lifters discover gyms, high-protein food and fitness events. Content is submitted and rated by users — we curate and moderate, but we're not the source of truth for every listing.

2. Your account

  • You must be at least 13 years old.
  • Provide accurate information and keep your login secure.
  • You're responsible for everything that happens under your account.

3. Your content

You keep ownership of the reviews, photos and locations you post. By posting them you grant Orete a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and share that content within the app and in reasonable promotional use of the platform.

You promise your content is yours to share and doesn't break the law or our Community Guidelines.

4. Acceptable use

Follow the Acceptable Use Policy and Community Guidelines. We can remove content or suspend accounts that break them.

5. Pricing

Orete is currently free while we build it out. Paid features may launch in future — we'll tell you clearly before you're charged.

6. Third-party services

Gyms, restaurants and trainers listed on Orete are independent businesses. Any transaction you make with them is between you and them — Orete isn't a party to it.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The app is provided "as is". See our Disclaimers for training, nutrition and AI content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Orete isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't legally be limited (e.g. for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

8. Termination

You can close your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged in-app before they take effect.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be handled by the courts of England and Wales.
